LOVE, AUBREY by Suzanne Lafleur

The book Love, Aubrey by Suzanne Lafleur is filled with excitement you just can’t put it down. This is a fiction story about a young girl around the age of eleven. Her dad and younger sister died in a severe car crash. Aubrey moved back to her grandma’s house in Vermont because her mother left her mysteriously. Aubrey didn’t have a parent to watch over her. Her grandma was supportive and knew, even if Aubrey didn’t admit it, she hurt inside. Aubrey’s heart is tearing apart and her grandma is trying her best to put the pieces back together. Will her mom come back? Will Aubrey even find her mom?

I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good read. Love, Aubrey is an addicting story. I suggest readers ages from 8 to any adult. As a reader, I can relate to this girl and her new friend, Bridget, who is her next-door neighbor. They have a great relationship with each other. Every eleven-year-old girl should have a best friend. Like Bridget you should be able to trust one another and tell them anything.

I would rate Love, Aubrey five stars. The writer knows how to write spectacular stories. The words flow beautifully and you can understand what she is inferring. You can tell this book took a tremendous amount of effort and energy. Every bit of it was like a puzzle. You had to put the pieces together in your mind and it all comes together in the end.
